Which Dune gift fits?
Denis Villeneuve’s films turned Dune into one of the best-looking franchises in cinema, and the licensed products follow that look closely. Legendary and Warner Bros. Pictures have dated Dune: Part Three for December 18, 2026 in North America, so interest will peak this winter. Everything on this page carries the Dune licence or is Frank Herbert’s own work.

The LEGO Icons ornithopter is the largest piece here. LEGO lists 1,369 pieces and a model about 23 cm high and 57 cm long. With the wings spread it reaches roughly 79 cm, so measure the shelf first. The eight minifigures are Paul, Lady Jessica, Gurney Halleck, Chani, Leto, Liet Kynes, Duncan Idaho and Baron Harkonnen. LEGO describes the Icons range as sets for adults.
McFarlane Toys makes the Dune: Part Two figures in 7-inch scale with up to 22 points of articulation. The single Paul Atreides comes with a sword, a cloth cloak, an art card and a base. The Gold Label four-pack puts Gurney, Paul, Chani and Stilgar together with thumpers, wormrider hooks, swords, a crysknife and four stands, which makes it the easiest way to start a Fremen display. The Stilgar and Shishakli two-pack adds another Fremen fighter, two rocket launchers and a spare head.
Funko covers both films. Paul Atreides with Sword (Pop #1493) is from Part Two and stands about 4.2 inches tall. The Pop Moment of Paul riding a sandworm (#2155) is labelled Dune: Part Three and is about 6.4 inches tall, so it suits a fan who wants something from the new film.
Games and books
Dune: Imperium is a board game from Dire Wolf, published under licence from Legendary. It combines deck-building with worker placement. The box holds a board, 8 leaders, more than 200 cards and wooden agents and tokens. It is a gift for someone who already enjoys strategy games rather than a light family game.
The Dune Saga boxed set from Penguin Random House collects all six of Frank Herbert’s novels in trade paperback, from Dune to Chapterhouse: Dune. Dune: Part Three is based on his second book, Dune Messiah, so the set is a good way to read ahead before December.
Buying tips
- Check that a figure listing names McFarlane Toys, Funko or LEGO. Unbranded “desert planet” figures and replica knives are not licensed Dune products.
- The McFarlane four-pack is an Amazon exclusive, so stock can come and go.
- The LEGO and board game pieces are better for teens and adults than for young children.
More film franchises are in movie merchandise. For another large display build, see the Star Wars gift guide, or browse The Lord of the Rings collectibles.
