Marvel Gift Guide: Avengers Gifts for Kids, Collectors and Fans

Updated October 30, 2026

A good Marvel gift starts with the person’s age and how they like to enjoy the characters. Children usually want something big to play with, such as a 12-inch Titan Hero Series figure, a costume or a LEGO playset. Adult fans often prefer clothing, a display build such as the LEGO Venom model, or a family board game. Collectors tend to buy Hasbro’s 6-inch Marvel Legends figures one wave at a time. This guide sorts the official Marvel products on our site into those groups and explains the differences between the figure lines, so you can pick the right one.

All the products mentioned here carry the Marvel licence. They are made by companies such as Hasbro, LEGO and Funko, or by licensed apparel makers. A listing that only says “superhero” or “inspired by” is not an official product.

Why this December is a busy one for Marvel fans

Marvel lists Avengers: Doomsday for release in cinemas on December 18, 2026, a week before Christmas. The film is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, and the cast on Marvel’s page includes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Florence Pugh and Tom Hiddleston. For gift buyers, that means many Marvel fans will be thinking about the Avengers over the holidays, and an Avengers shirt or figure is a timely present. Products tied to the new film itself are not covered in this guide; it sticks to items already on our pages.

The figure lines, explained

Figures are the most popular Marvel gift, and Hasbro makes two lines that are easy to mix up.

Line Scale Who it suits What to know
Marvel Legends Series 6-inch Collectors and older kids Detailed paint, many points of articulation, accessories; some figures include a Build-A-Figure part
Titan Hero Series 12-inch Younger kids Larger figures made for play; Hasbro lists them for ages 4 and up
Funko Pop About 3¾ to 4½ inches (standard); 10 inches (Jumbo) Fans who like a stylised look Vinyl figures in a window box, made for display

Hasbro lists Marvel Legends figures for ages 4 and up as well, but describes them as having “premium detail and articulation for posing and display”, so in practice they suit collectors and older children best. Some Legends figures also come with a Build-A-Figure part. As Hasbro’s announcements explain, each figure in a wave includes one or more pieces of an extra character; buy the whole wave and you can assemble that character. Every figure is sold separately.

Gifts for kids

Big figures for play. The Titan Hero Series Venom on the Venom merchandise page is a 12-inch figure with ball-joint articulation.

LEGO playsets. The Marvel Legends Eternals collection includes two LEGO sets from the Eternals film. The Eternals in Arishem’s Shadow puts four of the Eternals up against a Deviant. Rise of the Domo is a spaceship set that opens at the sides and comes with Makkari, Ikaris, Thena, Sersi, Druig and Phastos. Check the age range on each listing before you buy.

Dress-up. For Halloween, birthdays or a trip to the cinema, the Venom page has a boys’ Venom costume with a padded muscle chest and a mask, and the deluxe “Venomized” Iron Man costume. The same page has a kids’ Venom Christmas knit jumper.

Clothes they will actually wear. The Avengers clothes and outfits collection includes a three-pack of Marvel Avengers and Spider-Man T-shirts for boys.

Gifts for adult fans

T-shirts and loungewear. The Avengers clothing collection has adult T-shirts, including a Marvel Comics heroes group design and a long-sleeve Endgame shirt with the logos of the Avengers who survived Thanos’s snap. For a cosy present there are Captain America shield pajama pants and Avengers comic-book pajama pants. A five-pack of Avengers crew socks is listed for shoe sizes 8 to 12. If you are buying clothing for someone else, check the size chart on the listing, as sizing varies between makers.

A display build. The LEGO Venom set (76187) is aimed squarely at adults. LEGO labels it 18+, and its 565 pieces build a model of Venom’s head that stands a little over 7 inches (19 cm) high. It suits a fan who enjoys building and wants something for a desk or shelf rather than a toy.

Something for the whole household. The Eternals edition of Monopoly plays like the classic game with a Marvel theme. The Eternals collection also has a ceramic mug with character art and a gold handle, a logo backpack, a reversible Ikaris jacket with an embroidered “E” logo, and hoodies with Kingo and Celestials prints. There is even a seven-piece queen-size Eternals bedding set.

Adult costumes. The Venom page has an adult Venom jumpsuit with a padded chest and a latex half-mask. Its listing suggests pairing it with a Spider-Man costume for a couples outfit.

Gifts for collectors

Marvel Legends 6-inch figures. The Eternals collection is the best place on our site to start a Legends shelf. It has 6-inch figures of Ikaris, Sersi, Thena, Sprite, Druig, Phastos, Makkari and Kro. The Makkari figure has its right hand posed in the American Sign Language sign for “I love you”, a detail tied to the character being a deaf super hero. Because these figures share a scale, they look right standing together, and a collector can add to the set over several gifts. Before you buy, ask which figures the person already owns.

Funko Pop. The Eternals page has a 10-inch Jumbo Pop of the Celestial Arishem and a Pop of Kro at about 4½ inches. On the Venom page, the Let There Be Carnage Pop stands 3¾ inches and comes in a window display box.

Mixing lines. If a collector already owns Legends figures, a Titan Hero or Funko figure is a different kind of gift rather than a duplicate. Just do not expect a 12-inch Titan Hero to stand alongside 6-inch Legends; the scales do not match.

Choosing by favourite character

If the person has a favourite hero, let that decide the gift. For a Venom fan, the Venom page covers every age: the 12-inch Titan Hero figure and the boys’ costume for children, the LEGO head model and the adult jumpsuit for grown-ups, and a Funko Pop for the shelf. A Captain America fan might like the shield-logo pajama pants. A Spider-Man fan can choose between the 90’s Spider-Man long-sleeve tee and the Venom “Spidey Faces” shirt. For someone who loved the Eternals, the 6-inch Legends figures let you pick a single favourite, such as Sersi or Ikaris, rather than buying a whole team. When you do not know the favourite, a team design, such as the Marvel Comics heroes group T-shirt, is the safest choice.

Buying tips

  • Look for the Marvel name and the maker. Official figures name Hasbro, LEGO or Funko. Official clothing says “officially licensed” on the listing.
  • Match the scale. Legends figures are 6-inch; Titan Hero figures are 12-inch. Pick one line if the person wants a matching display.
  • Check the age. LEGO’s Venom model is labelled 18+. For young children, choose Titan Hero figures, costumes or clothing.
  • Think about the film. With Avengers: Doomsday in cinemas from December 18, Avengers-themed shirts and figures are a natural fit for this year’s gifts.
